The Opening Ceremony

Noa smiles after she completes the Tiny Tot Olympic torch run — part of the Opening Ceremony.

Still have a case of Olympic fever? The City of Malibu will host its annual Tiny Tots Olympic Games on Sunday, Sept. 18, at Malibu Bluffs Park, where you can see the best athletes aged 2-6 the city has to offer.

Opening ceremonies, including the traditional torch run and warmup and stretching session, begin at 12 p.m. When the events begin, participants can “compete” in events including t-ball, soccer, gymnastics, sprints, golf, basketball, tennis, ribbon dancing, bounce-house and more.

Though the event is free, bounce-house tickets will cost $1 each or $5 for an unlimited pass.

Each participant will earn a medal for his or her efforts in the Olympic Games.

More information about the event is available at malibucity.org/totolympics or by calling the Parks and Recreation Department at 310.317.1364.
