Malibu Search and Rescue Team and LA County Fire Department rescue a hiker from Escondido Falls.

Malibu Search and Rescue Team assisted in the rescue of a 49-year-old woman at Escondido Falls on Sunday, July 8. According to its social media, the team made rescues on each day (Friday through Sunday), during the weekend heat wave.

On July 7, the team assisted in a cliff rescue of a 50-year-old man in Topanga. The victim, who was flown to a trauma center, suffered from a compound leg fracture. Another adult male was rescued via helicopter out of a “difficult to access” area on July 6, according to LA County Fire Air Operations.
