The Malibu High School girls soccer team ended its season with senior night in late January. While they lost the game against Hueneme, 0-2, team photographer Marty King shared that “the girls really enjoyed playing together when they could.”

A few of the players lost their homes in the Woolsey Fire, and recent rainfall stifled their ability to practice. Still, King said, the team beat Hueneme in a previous game with a score of 4-3.

“The Sharks were down, 0-3, and came back to win. That was an amazing game,” he wrote in an email to The Malibu Times.
