Mother’s Day and Father’s Day have come and gone, and all of us who were fortunate enough to celebrate with our mothers and fathers are thankful for everything they have done. These two people can be taken for granted sometimes and, while there is only one holiday a year to celebrate the people who raised us, we should try to make them feel special more often.

I know I have taken advantage of my parents’ unconditional love, so I may only be speaking for myself, but thoughtful acts can make their day. Again, thank you to all the fathers and mothers out there.
