Longtime Malibu and Big Rock resident, Elizabeth Smith (Solano), died recently at the age of 74. Elizabeth leaves behind her son, Matt, daughter-in-law, Staci, and many friends and neighbors who treasured her friendship.

Dick Keller, 79, died on July 8, 2020. He was born on April 27, 1941. Dick lived in Overland Park, Kan. He met his best friend, Becky, in junior high. They were married in 1961 and enjoyed that marriage for 59 years.

Kerry MacFaden Flynn, Aug. 28, 1953-Dec. 19, 2019, unexpectedly passed away from a heart attack on December 19, 2019.  She is survived by her husband and best friend, Dennis, and their dog Andy.  

Bernie Shapiro, a longtime Malibu resident, died on Dec. 21, 2019, surrounded by loved ones in the peace and comfort of his Malibu Road home, following years of battling myelofibrosis, a rare blood disorder. He was 89 years old.
