Coach John Meyers led the Our Lady of Malibu School’s girls novice track and field team to earn the title of league champions for the third year in a row in their division at the Valley Catholic Sports Program Track and Field Championship. The meet took place on May 10 and the OLM team finished 72 points ahead of the second place team. 

They placed first in the 4x100 relay (Jacqueline Reynaga, Camille Anneet, Jade Calabria and Hazel Moder), 50 meter (Camille Anneet), 200 meter (Jacqueline Reynaga), 800 meter (Jade Calabria), long jump (Sophia Hall) and javelin (Nicole Reynaga). 

The OLM boys novice team placed second in its division, with Caspar von Alvensleben taking first place in both the 400 and 800 meter races.
