A fire in the garage of a Malibu Colony home was quickly contained Saturday, after L.A. County Firefighters responded to a call around 10 a.m.

The fire originated in the garage and did not spread, according to Deputy Defanso at the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's station. The family was home at the time but suffered no injuries.

A cause remains under investigation but there is "nothing suspicious at this time," Defanso said.

jjj, That would be coal primarily in this area since San Onofre is shut down.

PG, was the garage and Hybrid car powered by Nuclear or Coal?

Was there an electric Car charger involved? Hybrid battery pack?
