Malibu residents Martin Sheen and Valerie Sklarevsky met up at the federal courthouse in Brunswick, GA., earlier this month in support of a group called Kings Bay Plowshares Seven, who are facing 25 years of prison time after entering the Kings Bay Naval Base in an effort to disarm nuclear warheads there. “These weapons of mass destruction are both illegal and immoral,” Sklarevsky wrote in a message to The Malibu Times.
