Malibu residents—including several notable celebrities—gathered on Sunday to discuss the Climate Emergency Fund, a local environmental action group working to raise money to fight climate change. Hosted by Aileen Getty, Rory Kennedy and Trevor Neilson, the event was attended by about 50 locals, including Pierce Brosnan, Anthony Kiedis, James Blunt, Olivia Hamilton and David Rubin. 

Climate Emergency Fund, founded in July 2019, has distributed grants to about 30 organizations, including: Future Coalition, The Climate Mobilization, Greenpeace, Extinction Rebellion and Regeneración Pajaro Valley Climate Action.
